cigarettes and enlightenment
One can never claim to be fully at peace or to have achieved enlightenment if they smoke cigarettes. Is is a baseless, mechanic act fueled only by addiction and initiated by stupidity and/or the follies of youth. I do not condemn the act in and of itself nor those who partake in the glorious escape of the tumults or mundane affairs that is every day life through the release of the glorious tobacco. But its all in your head and it must be overcome. I’ll go a few days without smoking without the intention to quit sometimes because those moments of temporary insanity have become the new release. I hope to quit one day soon, but not tomorrow or the day after.
