Dealing with bad news
I got some bad news the other day about a good friend. I’m not going to say what, but its one of those big things you always think will never happen to you directly or someone close, but sure enough, it did. This may sound terrible, but somewhere inside there was a little voice grateful that it wasn’t me, but then I realized that probably everyone has one of those even if they won’t admit it.
I’ve been trying to make sense of things and the only reasonable conclusion to arrive at is that non-sense is the only sense of all. Sure nature has its own laws and everyone has to eventually pay for everything, but the universe is indifferent to our cause as it always has been and thus rightfully should be. There is no proper way to deal with bad news other than accepting the totality of your reality and laughing in its face. Once this is embraced, the truth will liberate. An optimistic healthy spirit of defiance is essential
